Laura Allan
Early Childhood Educator / Infant Toddler Educator / Special Education Assistant / Daycare Supervisor
Laura completed her Early Childhood Education at Douglas College in 1990 and continued on to receive her citation in Infant Toddler Education and Special Education Teacher Assistant. Laura has been teaching at Cedar Drive for more than 15 years and has worked as an early childhood educator in both the preschool and daycare programs. She currently supervises the daycare program and teaches in the preschool program. Laura is married with 3 children and 2 stepchildren. She keeps busy by spending time with family, working out, bike riding, reading, and pursuing her educational goals.

Aissa Baisa
Early Childhood Educator
Aissa graduated from the Early Childhood Education program at MTI Community College in 2012. Shortly after that, she began working at Cedar Drive Preschool in the out of school care and daycare programs. She is a fun loving person who likes listening to music, watching movies, shopping, cupcakes, and spending time with her small but growing family.

Ashley Tingley
Early Childhood Educator
Ashley completed her Early Childhood Education at Lucas Centre in North Vancouver in 2005. Shortly after that, she started working at PJ Kids club in West Vancouver, where she was one of the main preschool teachers for 11 years. She now lives in Coquitlam with her husband and 5 year old son. Ashley is very happy to now be part of the Cedar Drive Daycare team. She is caring, empathetic and makes great connections with each child. In her spare time she enjoys spending time with family and friend, hiking, working out, kayaking and baking.

Jessica Stephens
Early Childhood Educator 

Jessica finished her ECE schooling at Ridge Meadows College in June of 2013 and is currently working on finishing up her final practicum for her full ECE licence. She completed her first practicum in our daycare program and then started working as relief staff in all 3 programs at Cedar Drive in January of 2014. She now works full time in the out of school care program. Jessica has been babysitting a wide variety of different ages since she was 12 years old and has always had a passion for taking care of children. She grew up in Port Moody and currently resides in Port Coquitlam with her boyfriend, Gord and toy papillon dog, Maggie. In her spare time she enjoys playing softball, hiking, watching movies and spending a lot of quality time with her friends and family.
